Two and a half years after their displacement, a gunman from the “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization sold the furniture of two houses belonging to displaced Afrin citizens, in order to benefit from them financially.
Two displaced citizens from Afrin contacted the “Afrinpost” reporter and told him about that of an armed man from the “Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya,” which is descended from “Tal Rifaat,” sold the furniture of their home in the Villas Street. “.
One of the residents said that his furniture is worth about 10 million SYP, while the other said that every door in a house is worth about 500,000 because they are made of aluminum.
This gunman had occupied a civilian home since the beginning of the occupation of Afrin, and the two citizens said that he sold the furniture in retaliation, as he considered them to be supporters of the Autonomous Administration.
The Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood have looted the homes of the indigenous Kurds in Afrin since the military occupation on the 18th of March 2018, as they were disposed of in the markets of neighboring areas such as Marea, Azaz, Al-Bab and Idlib.
