Afrinpost – Special
The correspondent of the “Afrinpost” in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin said yesterday, Wednesday, that gunmen belonging to the militia of the “Sultan Murad Squad” stole the walnut season in the plain of the village of “Tal Tawil” and “Jumkeh”.
The same theft was carried out by armed men of the “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya Militia”, who intentionally stole the walnut season of the citizens in the village of “Qujuma / Qujûma” of the “Jenderes” district, and in “Marateh” village, in addition to the village of “Burj Abdalou”, where the militants of the “Al-Hamzeh Squad” militia stole the walnut season in the same way.
Afrin is known as the land of olives, but the people depend on additional crops to support their income, due to the nature of the olive seasons in which the quantities of production differs every year between abundance and scarcity, and the nature of the thefts process for all seasons, make it clear that the Turkish occupation plan to deliberately impoverish the Kurdish indigenous people, and depriving them of any source of income.
