Sources reported today, Tuesday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, that gunmen from the “Ahrar Al-Sharqiya Militia” attacked a settler family from Eastern Ghouta in the center of the occupied Kurdish Afrin region in northern Syria.
According to the sources of the Syrian Observatory, a dispute over a residential house (mostly belonging to a Kurdish exile from the Afrin indigenous people) developed into a hand-to-hand fight between militia gunmen and members of the settler family.
Where gunmen from the militia beat and insulted the youths, so that a gunman from the “Civil Police” militia tried to intervene to resolve the dispute, but Ahrar Al-Sharqiya militants opened fire to kill them, and then escaped.
Since the occupation of Afrin, Islamic militias under the supervision of the Turkish occupation divided the villages and areas of Afrin into sectors, where a certain militia stationed in each sector, and monopolized for itself the seizure of the property of the displaced Kurds, the theft of their property and theft of their homes.
However, the disagreement of these militias over their stolen properties and barriers, in many cases, leads to armed confrontations, or to carry out explosions.
