The Turkish occupation exploits religion to ensure the loyalty of its tools in the occupied Afrin

Afrinpost – Special

The Turkish occupation continues to exploit religion and strive to make it a way to achieve its goals, by spreading populist rhetoric and religious extremism rejecting the others, which is based on the theory of the annihilation of others and their destruction in order to achieve what they consider their alleged Ottoman caliphate.

Of course, the Turkish occupation relies on the underdeveloped groups, which have a pure religious cultural background, who can be deceived simply by invoking religious teachings and hadiths that are interpreted in accordance with the interests of the Turkish occupation, to win the hearts of the settlers and to show itself that it is the savior from the regime and the alleged separatists.

Those who are oblivious are not aware of the rule of the religious association with the Turkish occupation, which political Islam groups and in particular the Muslim Brotherhood organization contribute to spreading, in that they are just tools that the Turks achieve in their racial and cultural expansion hidden in the name of religion over the rest of the peoples of the region.

Nor do they realize that all the current procedures, which are based on the theory of “brotherhood that has no borders” between the Syrian Brotherhood’s armed men and the Turkish side, are nothing but a trick that will be worked out until the Ottomans take root in Syrian societies before all the Turkish occupiers get rid of them.

To show itself the protector of religion, the Turkish occupation in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin or elsewhere does not stop opening mosques, to ensure that new generations of extremists who fight for Ankara will be graduated by request and desire, once against the Syrian components in the northeast of the country, and another in Libya and sometimes in Yemen and maybe later in Azerbaijan.

In this context, media outlets loyal to the Turkish occupation said that the so-called “Turkish Humanitarian Relief Organization“ İHH ”had started building the Al-Zakirin mosque in the center of Afrin, and that it would accommodate 1500 worshipers.

According to a statement issued by “İHH”, yesterday, Saturday, the Vice-President of the Commission Erhan Yamlak participated in laying the cornerstone, provided that its construction is completed within a year, as Yamlak claimed, in the statement, to “the small number of mosques in the city center of Afrin”, which is what is not commensurate with the Turkish efforts to sedate peoples with religion, as has happened over more than four centuries with various Arab countries that were previously subject to the Turkish Ottoman occupation.

Since the occupation of Afrin, extremist organizations such as the Muslim Brotherhood have endeavored to spread extremism by all means and methods, by opening severa institutions, some of which are relief and some are advocacy, in order to spread radical thought in Afrin, as well as opening religious institutes, and encouraging children to go to mosques and receive advocacy lessons, in addition to to send propaganda teams to villages, and organize religious propaganda competitions.

The Muslim Brotherhood has also attempted to encourage children to strict religious thought, by offering gifts, games, or appetizers, sweets, and other deceptions, to drag children towards their ideas, where in that context, many religious institutes and bodies, such as the “Al-Fateh Al-Mubeen” institute in the village of “ Kurzele / Kurzeheel ”, in cooperation with the“ Turkmen Syrian Youth ”and the Imam Al-Khatib School“ Pasha Karaga ”.

As for the Turkish occupation, it exerted efforts to intensify religious subjects in the curricula approved by Afrin, so it imposed materials such as (religious education, the Noble Qur’an, the life of the Prophet Muhammad) on primary school students, and encouraged the activity of organizations working under the mantle of charitable work, which seeks to compel children to learn to pray and others.
