Syrian mercenaries continue to be sent to Libya and their bodies are returned and buried in secret

Afrinpost correspondent in Shieh / Sheikh Al-Hadid district said that the militia of “Sultan Suleiman Shah” had completed a training course for dozens of militants in one of its camps in the district, in preparation for sending them to Libya to fight alongside Al-Wefaq Muslim Brotherhood government.

The correspondent explained that the militia leader Muhammad Jassim, known as “Abu Amsheh”, ended the graduation of the training course for the 80 militants, with a large feast in celebration of the occasion.

Another source confirmed that “Al-Amshaat” militia is entering the bodies of its dead militants who fall in Libya, through an opening in the border wall near the village of “Qarmitlaq” and they are buried secretly in the village’s cemetery, indicating that the burial operations are carried out in complete secrecy amid imposing a curfew on the residents of the village.

In the most recent statistic, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights revealed, on Thursday, July 23, 2020, that Turkey sent a new batch of hundreds of Syrian mercenaries to Libya, bringing the total of Turkey’s mercenaries in Libya to 16,500 militants. The observatory said that the death toll of Turkish mercenaries in Libya had risen to 481, including 34 children under the age of 18.
