Kurdish girl forced to marry in Kutana, in Bulbul district, and returned three days to her family, raped by 4 gunmen of the “Sultan Murad” militia

Afrinpost – Special

Around a month ago, armed men from the “Sultan Murad Squad” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood asked to marry a 20-year-old Kurdish girl in the “Kutana / Kutanli” village of the “Bulbula / Bulbul” district. However, their request was refused by the father, who was later assaulted, and beaten, and his daughter was kidnapped, to marry her forcibly.

However, after three days, the girl was returned to her family, to find out later that all the armed men who came to the family’s house took turns raping her (4 gunmen).

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the Turkish occupation areas witness repeated cases of rape, and the de facto authorities and the judiciary ignore these cases, which are committed by criminal, armed men of the Muslim Brotherhood militia called “the Syrian National Army”.

The Syrian Observatory had published a report on the rape of the Afrini girl on the evening of yesterday, the thirtieth of June, but it was forced to delete the news out of concern for the safety of the girl after the many threats by Muslim Brotherhood militias to kill her family if they spoke about the matter, and the Syrian Observatory returned to spread the news again after communication with the girl’s relatives.

Rape cases are widespread in Afrin by the militants’ gunmen and their wives, the most prominent of which was the woman who was raped by “Abu Amsha”, who is the wife of one of his gunmen in the “Shieh / Sheikh Al-Hadid” district, and the militants do not hesitate to turn the homes abandoned by the Kurdish residents into houses of prostitution .
