Militants of the Islamic militia known as the “National Army” affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood continue to cut trees from forests and fields in all parts of the occupied Kurdish Afrin region, and trade their logs in light of the demand for them in areas under Turkish occupation in northwestern Syria.
In this context, the correspondent of “Afrinpost” said, that the Islamic militia cut down 500 trees belonging to two Kurdish brothers in Afrin, with the aim of logging in last winter (several months ago).
The reporter stated that 300 trees belonging to the Kurdish citizen, “Rashid Husseh”, were cut down, near the village of “Avrazi \ Avraz”, affiliated with the “Mobata / Ma’batli” district, and 200 trees belonging to his brother, “Hussein Hussseh”, opposite Mount Hawar, too .
The occupied Kurdish region witnesses daily logging of forests and olive trees by Islamic militia militants and their settlers.
