An armed group belonging to the militia of “Al-Hamzeh Squad” today, Wednesday, stormed a money exchange center in the center of the occupied Afrin region, and looted large sums of money from it despite the intervention of an armed group affiliated with “Al-Shamiya militia” to confront the armed robbery, according to the Afrinpost reporter.
The correspondent added that the armed group stormed an exchange house near the Kabban Roundabout, which prompted the group “Nidal Al Bayanouni” affiliated with the militia of the “Al-Shamiya Front” to intervene and confront it, and clashes took place between the two parties, but the “Al-Hamzeh” militants managed to plunder sums of money estimated at seven thousand Turkish lira and 13 thousand US dollars.
In the same context, on Tuesday, the “Al-Hamzeh” militia occupying the village of Marateh stole 8 sheep from a herd belonging to a settler who recently came to the region and camped on the Afrin-Marateh road.
