“Al-Hamza Squad” Militia Looting Fruit Seasons in “Basoute” and “Burjeh” villages

The Turkish occupation militias continue the looting, robbery, and theft of the agricultural crops seasons of the remaining indegious Kurdish people of Afrin, within the framework of their policy of impoverishment, starvation and displace the civilians developed by the Turkish intelligence.

In the context, the Afrinpost correspondent in the Shirawa district said that the militia of the “AL-Hamzeh squad” carried out systematic theft, robbery, and looting in the fruit seasons (peach, apricot, and greengage) in the villages of “Basouta” and “Burjeh / Burj Abdalo”, and sold them at low prices in the Al-Hal market, in cooperation with settlers from the village of “Tel Jabin” in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

The correspondent added, that the militia prevents farmers from the villages of “Andareh/ Ain Dara”, “Basoute / Basuta” and “Burjeh / Burj Abdalo”, from irrigating their agricultural fields and requires them to pay 20% of the sales percentage of crops in those villages.

In addition, the Afrinpost correspondent in Jenderes district reported that there were indiscriminate shooting by the militia of the “Al-Hamzeh Squad” in the village of “Faqira / Faqiran”, on Thursday, without being able to know additional details.

This comes at a time when the occupation militias in Al-Ashrafieh neighborhood of the city of Afrin continue to steal the rest of the electrical cables and in front the sight of the “Military Police” militia, where they sell copper extracted from them for an amount of 8 thousand Syrian pounds for one kilo.

After two years and three months of the Turkish military occupation,there is still no law that could enable citizens to hold militants accountable for violations and abuses, a plan followed by the Turkish occupation to keep Kurdish civilians in a state of constant anxiety and confusion about their lives.
