“Afrin Liberation Forces” announced that it was able to kill 14 militants affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, who call themselves “the Syrian National Army / Free Army”.
The forces indicated that they were able to seize a quantity of weapons and ammunition during the operation, during a statement published on Sunday, in which the forces stated that the operation was in revenge for their comrades who were martyred on the 13th of June.
The text of the statement said: “On June 19, our forces carried out a specific retaliatory operation targeting several points belonging to the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation in the area between the villages of Kafr Nebo and Barad of the Shirawa district in the Afrin region, during which 14 mercenaries were killed, and a number of others were wounded, as well as our forces seized a quantity of weapons and ammunition belonging to mercenaries. “
The forces mentioned the types of those weapons, which are as follows: “4 AK-47s and 1 pouch – 1 piece BKC with its ammunition – 1 piece of RPG-7 weapon – 1 piece of Brno weapon – 1 piece of thermal sight (THERMAL) – 3 mobile devices ”
The forces explained that the operation was “in revenge for our martyrs comrades Agir Afrin, Judy Rustum, and Yilmaz Afrin who were martyred on June 13th.”
