Ankara cuts salaries of the “Al-Sharqiya Army” militia because of Libya

One of the media sites loyal to the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization said that Ankara punished the “Al-Sharqiya Army” militia by cutting their salaries off at Eid Al-Fitr time and before the holy month of Ramadan.

According to the pro-occupation media, a gunman of the “Al-Sharqiya Army” militia, most of whose fighters are from the eastern region, said that the Turks invoked that the militia did not hand over the wanted to Turkey because of the fighting against “Military Police” militia in Jarabulus, north of Aleppo,

The gunman, asked that his name be withheld, fearing of being arrested, stated that the main reason behind cutting the militia salaries off by Ankara is the failure to send gunmen within the contracts of “mercenaries / hired killers” to Libya, to fight alongside the government of reconciliation against the Libyan National Army led by Field Marshal Khalifa Hifter.

The armed man continued that the “Al-Sharqiya Army” militia did not send any armed men to Libya, until this moment, while the “Ahrar al-Sharqiya” and “Shamiya Front” militia attempted to deceive Turkey by recruiting a small number of young men from the camps and sending them under the name of these militias to Libya.

Stressing that the trick did not deceive Turkey, which is likely that Turkey will choose these militias during the coming period between sending hundreds of gunmen, headed by militia leaders to Libya, or facing the fate of the “Eastern Army” militia and stopping support from them.

The armed man pointed out that the decision taken by Ankara to cut off the salaries in this particular month is to put pressure on the militia that belongs to the so-called “First Legion” led by “Hussein Hammadi” to push the militants to the Libyan lands, and to restrict them to the period in which they need the money for their families in Ramadan and Eid.
