In the context of its sinful role, the Turkish occupation is supporting the settlement and the domination of the law of the jungle imposed by the Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood in the occupied Kurdish Afrin region, the councils formed by the occupation, continue to implement the instructions it receives from the intelligence of the Turkish occupation, aimed at enabling a project of Demographic change in favor of the settlers.
In the context, the reporter of the “Afrinpost” in the Afrin Center said that the so-called “relief office” within what is known as the “Afrin local council” of the occupation, has set up agricultural projects for settlers, on the agricultural lands belonging to the Afrin displaced people!
The correspondent stated that these projects depend on the so-called “relief office” providing fertilizer and seedlings to the settlers, who seized agricultural lands of the forcibly displaced Kurdish owners due to the Turkish Brotherhood invasion, in a group of Afrin areas such as “Ester village / Gunde Ister” and plains in the villages of Qastal Kishk and Jomkeh.
Among the lands that the project will support is a land was seized from the Kurdish citizen “Ibrahim Abu Rojhalat” from the “Ester” village, as well as another land from the Kurdish citizen “Nabi Abu Muhammad” from the same village, near the train station, and a lands near the village water canal.
Likewise, lands were taken over around Qastal Kishk hill, including lands belonging to the family of “Sheikh Moussa Sheikh Na’asan”, and other lands that were taken over at Jumkeh village, including the lands of “Sheikh Salim” at the village junction.
The Afrinpost correspondent in Jenderes district also indicated that the project that supports the settlers and seeks to enable them to have conditions of stability in the lands of the Kurdish displaced people, will be implemented in the area as well.
Where a group of lands were taken to implement the project, on the Jenderes road, including some of the land of the Ghubari family, in addition to lands of the citizen “Abu Muhammad” from the “Al-Jadida Village”, which was seized by a settler from Ghouta, claiming that he had set up a project to support the families of the dead militants members.
Since the beginning of its military occupation in March 2018, the Turkish occupation formed formal councils affiliated to it in the center of Afrin and its six areas, whose tasks are to legalize the takeovers by settlers and armed men of the property of the displaced indigenous people.
Occupation councils play a suspicious role represented in the legalization of criminal acts by settlers and armed men, by enacting legislation that justifies their robbery and appropriation under false pretenses.
The councils had issued in 2018 and 2019 decisions to legalize the theft of agricultural seasons on the pretext of taxes, whereby Islamic militias and councils acquired part of the crops, as they work to justify the Turkish invasion of new areas in northern Syria, to confirm this existential link with the presence of the occupation
