Groups of Idlib residents return to their areas after the Al-Nusra Front allowed them to

Afrinpost – Special

The Afrinpost correspondent in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, explained that a number of families of Idlib who fled to Afrin as a result of the battles that took place between the Turkish occupation and its militias on the one hand, and the Syrian regime on the other hand, have started to return to their areas, after the so-called The “Salvation Government” of the Headquarters for the Liberation of Al-Sham / Jabhat al-Nusra, allowed them to return.

The reporter stated that he witnessed the return of convoys from the Idlib people to their areas, indicating, according to a source from them, that the people who had stayed in random camps on the roads had begun to return.

However, he showed that no one from the camp in the Mahmudiyah region has returned, and a source from Idlib said that the so-called “Salvation Government” allowed thousands of people to return to Idlib on Saturday and Sunday.

The so-called “Salvation government” published a statement, in which it announced that it would allow the people to return to their homes in Idlib, but without specifying which areas in particular, especially since half of the Idlib area are under the control of the Syrian regime.
