Confrontations and disputes take place between the militants of the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood on the one hand, and some settlers, who have different backgrounds from the militants on the other hand.

In this context, a leader in the “Hamzah Brigade” militia recently assaulted a settler after asking him to pay a food order, which the leader had taken earlier, the Afrinpost correspondent reported.

The reporter stated that the leader of the “Al-Hamza” militia in the Mahmudiyah neighborhood of the Afrin center “Abu Hamza”, beat a settler called “Abdo Al-Qut”, refusing to pay him for an order of lahmajun “meat pie”, which he prepared be served at a funeral ceremony of one of the militia members who were killed in Libya.

The reporter pointed out that the settler called “Al-Qut” has two shops on the road to Jenderes in the city center, one of which is for meat and the other is a stone bakery, and according to the information, the cost of the order (meals) reached one million and eight hundred thousand Syrian pounds.

There are many differences between settlers and armed men, especially those who belong to different regions. On the sixth of April, the Afrinpost correspondent said that the “Jaish Al- Islam” militia stole ten sheep belonging to settler, who live in random camps in the Ashrafieh neighborhood, confirming that despite the identity of the gunmen who carried out the robbery, they refused to return it to its owners who was from Hama.
