Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood continue to use kidnapping and arrest as a means of blackmail the remaining Kurdish people in the occupied Afrin region, with the aim of expelling them from their homes for the benefit of Islamic settlers loyal to them from various conflict areas in Syria.
In the context, an armed group kidnapped the Kurdish citizen, Rifaat Saido (Rifate Xaziyana), and three of his sons, on the first day of Ramadan, on Friday, and they stole huge sums of money, a gold piece, and other items from his house during the storming operation.
The Afrinpost correspondent reported that the group stormed at dawn, the citizen’s house Rifaat on the Stadium Street, and kidnapped him and three of his young children, in addition to the theft of a gold piece from his wife and the amount of $ 3 thousand and other large amounts of syrian pounds .
The correspondent indicated that the area is under the control of the militia of “Sultan Muhammad al-Fateh”.
It is known that Afrin and its villages have been divided into sectors, in which every militia monopolizes the priority of theft, robbery, and seizure of property of the displaced Afrin people and distributes it to its gunmen or settlers from the families of these militants.
The Kurdish region of Afrin is still suffering, since the start of the military occupation on the eighteenth of March 2018, as a result of the violations of the Islamic militias under the supervision and planning of the Turkish occupation, where the armed militias known as the “Free Army” and “National Army” deal with the property belonging to the people in their sectors on the basis that they are spoils obtained in the battle of Afrin!
