Turkish occupation intelligence arrests a Kurdish elderly man in Afrin

Afrinpost – Special

The “Afrinpost” correspondent in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, said that the Turkish occupation forces and the Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood continue to abuse the indigenous people who remained on their lands, as part of their efforts to displace them and settle in their lands.

In this context, the Turkish occupation intelligence arrested the Kurdish citizen, Ismael Waziru, aged 65, from his house near “Dbistana Rash” or the school (Suleiman Al-Halabi), on the morning of the first of March, on charges of working within the management institutions .

The correspondent indicated that the Kurdish elderly had previously been arrested twice by the militia of the “Al-Shamiya Front” militia affiliated to the Muslim Brotherhood, most of those militants are from the northern countryside of Aleppo.

On January 1, the “Military Police” militia arrested a Kurdish citizen and drove him to its headquarters in the Commercial Secondary School, for allegedly repairing cars belonging to the “self-administration” previously.

At the time, private sources reported to the “Afrinpost” that the citizen (A.D), aged 48, was arrested in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, by the military “police” militia under the pretext of conducting investigations with him on a charge related to his repairing “party cars” during the period of” self-management “previously.

Islamic militias rely on kidnapping as a means of obtaining money, which is one of the methods they followed since the beginning of the occupation of Afrin, while the Turkish occupation supervises these operations as one of the methods of displacing the Kurds and preventing the displaced from returning.
