The Afrinpost has learned from its sources that Turkish intelligence recently established a new prison for Kurdish women, where the Turkish occupation prisons and kidnapping centers of the Islamic militia are crowded with hundreds of kidnapped Kurdish men and women , where they spend their lives in very poor health and humanitarian conditions, with total disregard from international human rights organizations.
The Afrinpost obtained information from among the militias of the Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, known as the “Syrian National Army”, according to which the Turkish Intelligence and “Political Security” militia created a prison for women at the headquarters of the former “Ronahi Press”, next to Avrin hospital, downtown Afrin.
These sources indicated that three of the Yezidi Kurdish girls were arrested recently in the Mahmudiyah neighborhood in a security campaign launched by these forces, they were taken to the newly created prison. The girls are from one of the villages of Jenderis district, but the “Afrinpost”did not mentioned their names at the request of their families.
It is noteworthy that the “Military Police” and “Civil Police” militia have special sections for women in their prisons, which contain hundreds of Kurdish detainees and kidnapped women, especially those who are held in the basement of the “Commercial Secondary School” and the “Marateh Prison” of the “Military Police” militia.
There is also another prison run by the “Civil Police” militia, and it contains a special section for women, knowing that each of the militias of the “Syrian National Army” has its own kidnapping centers, deployed in all the security sectors that belong to it, in addition to those in the cities of Al-Ra’i, Izzaz and Al-Bab, and some of the Kurdish detainees are taken to prisons inside Turkish territory.
Sources, according to testimonies of former detainees, told the Afrinpost correspondent that the “Marateh Prison” alone contains 950 detainees, while the prison located in the “Commercial Secondary Building” which is run by the “Military Police” militia contains more than 110 detainees currently.
The correspondent of “Afrinpost” learned from his sources within the militants, that the Turkish intelligence is currently working on creating a new branch called “Information Security”, who will be based in the post office in the city of Afrin, where it is prepared for this purpose.
