Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood known as the “Syrian National Army” continue to violate the rights of the Kurdish indigenous people in the occupied region of Afrin, in northern Syria, through kidnappings, torture, and enforced disappearances that occur in front of the international community, which still remains silence.
In this context, the Turkish intelligence arrested a Kurdish woman last Tuesday, on the twenty-fourth of March, from her home located in the Mahmudiyah neighborhood in the center of the occupied Kurdish Afrin region, and took her to an unknown destination, according to the Afrinpost reporter.
The reporter stated that the Turkish intelligence arrested the Kurdish citizen, “Kibar Muhammad Kulish / 35 years old”, who is a married woman and from the people of the town of Mobata / Ma’batli.
Islamic militias often commit criminal acts against Kurdish women in Afrin, including in the village of Maidan Akbis in the Raju district, on November 6, 2019, when an armed group from the “Faleq al-Sham” militia stormed the homes of a number of Kurdish citizens, and aggressively assaulted them, Among them was a pregnant woman, which resulted in her miscarriage.
