A Kurdish citizen was injured today, Thursday, as a result of being shot by a masked armed group who tried to armed robbery on the car he was traveling in on the road between the village of “Joqeh / Jwaiq” and the city of Afrin, according to the correspondent of “Afrinpost”.
In the details, the Kurdish citizen, Idris Muhammad Ahmed / 37 years old, was accompanied by another young man named “Jwan” on their way to the city of Afrin with the aim of bringing “bread” and other foodstuffs to the people of their village “Joukeh / Juaiq”, but a masked armed group intercepted them and tried Robbery of their money and car.
He went on to say that the Kurdish citizens resisted the operation, and they intentionally started the vehicle they were traveling in and launched quickly, which led the gunmen to shoot the car, which led to the injury of the young man “Idris” with a bullet in the foot, in addition to receiving the car several bullets.
The correspondent pointed out that the armed group that intercepted the Kurdish citizens was stopped in an area near the security barrier of the Islamic militia, which is located between the villages of “Joqeh / Juwaiq” and the city of Afrin.
