Afrinpost – Special
The Turkish occupation, in coordination with the Syrian regime and the Russian forces, continues to evacuate more housing complexes from the Aleppo countryside and Idlib from its residents and push them to the occupied Kurdish Afrin region, with the aim of dumping it with settlers and reducing the Kurdish percentage in it after having displaced more than 500 thousand Kurdish citizens during the aggression on the region in the middle March 2018.
And Afrinpost reporter in Jinderes monitored a horrific flow of deserters from the rural areas of Idlib and west Aleppo, after they had been evacuated by the militants of the Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, in preparation for handing them over to the forces of the regime, which is rapidly advancing in those areas without the slightest resistance, as their withdrawal came under Turkish orders.
The reporter emphasized that the frames of vehicles and cars loaded with deserters flow uninterrupted from the Ghazawiya crossing to the depth of the occupied territory, as one needs a full day to cut the distance between the crossing and the city of Afrin.
The correspondent added that the city of Dara Azza and the villages surrounding it were completely evacuated from its residents, after the gunmen of the Headquarters of Tahrir Al-Sham / Jabhat al-Nusra withdrew, claiming that its people were the first to defend it.
The reporter documented the settlement of about 700 families in the village of Jalameh, 1,000 families in Ashkan Sharqi, 70 families in the village of Qalqiyeh, 900 families in Iska and 200 in Kafr Zeit, noting that the town of Jinderes is witnessing a terrifying overcrowding of new settlers and vehicles, as random camps spread over hills, cliffs and the outskirts of roads in all District of Jinderes.
The correspondent pointed out that the Turkish occupation asked village chiefs appointed by it, that an accurate population census of all residents in the region, from indigenous residents and settlers, should be repeated with the filling of fields indicating the national origin of the registered name, in a step indicating the desire of the Turkish occupier to confirm the percentage of the Kurdish demographic, similar to what was distributed to the mayors of the “Bulbula / Bulbul” side as well.
In connection with that, “Afrinpost” communicated with a number of people familiar with the situation in terms of numbers of new recruits, that the percentage of Kurds in the center of Jenderes and its villages decreased to only 3%.
