In this context, the fate of many young Kurds who decided to return to Afrin after the application of the Turkish military occupation to it remains unknown, including those who have had two years of unknown fate, without their families knowing that they are still prisoners, or have they become martyrs in the hands of executioners of the Islamic militias affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood.
Among those cases, the Afrinpost reporter in Raju district reported that the thirty-man, Rashid Mustafa Abdo, who decided to return to Afrin, and was arrested upon his return in May 2018, to his home in the town of Raju, his fate remains unknown until now.
