The “Afrin Liberation Forces” indicated that its forces carried out a series of operations in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, against the militants of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization who identify themselves as (the National Army / Free Army).
It reported that the operations resulted in the death of two gunmen and the injury of another, in addition to the destruction of a military vehicle and the downing of a pilot plane, noting that the Turkish occupation continues its bombing of Afrin and Al-Shahba.
The Afrin Liberation Forces issued a written statement on these operations, which reads: “On January 27, our forces carried out a specific operation against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in the city of Afrin, and the operation resulted in the destruction of a military vehicle.
On the same evening, our forces carried out a sniper attack against the Mercenaries of Failaq Al-Sham, in the village of Burj Haidar in the Shirawa district, and the operation resulted in the killing of mercenaries and the injury of another.
On January 28, our forces shot down a reconnaissance plane of the Turkish occupation army, between the villa of Qadi and Brad, in the district of Shara, Afrin.
The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on January 27 and 28 of January bombed the villages of Afrin and Al-Shahba with missiles and mortars, and the shelling resulted in material damage to civilians and their property.
