Militias release two Kurdish employees from the local occupation council in Afrin

Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood released on Sunday, January 4th, two employees of the (Afrin Local Council) a week after their arrest and their taking of an unknown destination.

The Afrinpost correspondent in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin said that the “Political Security” militia released each of the Kurdish citizens (Basil Arab and Muhammad Hanan), noting that they had suffered a severe beating during the period of the arrest, while their colleague, “Manan Habib” was still An employee of the local occupation council is in detention.

Gunmen from the “Political Security” militia accompanied by the occupation intelligence, on December 30, 2019, arrested (Manan Habib, Basil Arab and Muhammad Abdel Hanan) from the local council of the Turkish occupation and took them to an unknown destination.

Basil Arab comes from the village of Kafar Dale, in the district of Jenderes, and he previously worked for the Water Company, and he currently works in the local administration and services office in Afrin Council, while Manan Habib comes from the village of Qurneh, in “Bulbula / Bulbul” district , he was previously an officer in the army of the regime and currently works in the local council.
