Information continues regarding the Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood expelling the indigenous Kurdish population from their homes in the center of the occupied Kurdish Afrin region and its countryside, in order to resettle the families of the gunmen from the countryside of Damascus, Homs, Hama and Deir Al-Zour, in addition to those who fled from the Idlib governorate, and who they trickle over the territory in large numbers.
In this context, the reporter of “Afrinpost” in Afrin Center said that an armed militia in the “Faila Al-Sham” militia descended from Ghouta on January 7, who took over the house of a Kurdish widow in the Ashrafieh neighborhood, from the people of the “Shiye / Sheikh Al-Hadid” and she is called (Zainab / 40 years old).
The reporter indicated that the argument used by the armed man in order to seize the house, is that the tenant belonged to the “People’s Protection Units,” which is the argument used by the militants to seize the property of Kurdish citizens and resettle their relatives.
Noting that the gunman and his group had looted all the contents of the house, then they rented it to a family from Idlib, and they also threw the furniture of the Kurdish tenant on a garbage dump.
He went on to say that the Kurdish widow tried to restore her home by filing a complaint with the “Military Police” militia and the so-called “Deir Al-Zour Sons Association”, but that did not help.
It is clear that the recent war of the regime and Russia was carried out in full coordination with the Turkish occupation, in order to push the people in Idlib to leave and go to settle in areas occupied by Turkey, such as Afrin, “Tel Abyad / Gire Spi” and “Sere Kaniye / Ras Al-Ain”.
The situation in Idlib can be likened to the Turkish-Russian deal in which Afrin was sold by Russia, in exchange for Turkey giving up areas that were subject to its militias in the countryside of Damascus, Homs, Hama, and Idlib.
What is taking place is only a new way for the demographic change practiced by the Turkish occupation authorities, by forcing the population in Idlib to leave to fill what it considers its safe area, which seeks from it to be a dagger in the back of the Self-Administration areas east of the Euphrates, in order to eliminate the historical presence of the Kurds in the north Syria, and depriving the rest of the components of the rights that they acquired through “Self-Administration.”
