News observatories in the occupied Kurdish region of Afrin, in northern Syria, has followed a number of kidnappings by Islamist militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood, known as the “Syrian National Army / Free Army”.
Activists said that the militia of the Turkish occupation kidnapped the citizen “Basim Ahmed Ahmed” on January 13th, after his house was raided in the village of Ramadieh in the Jandares district.
In the context, the fate of the two brothers, Walat Haj Ali Abo Omar / 38 years old and Idris Haj Ali Abo / 35 years old, from the people of the village of Kakhreh in Mobata / Ma’batli district, remains unknown. They were kidnapped on January 12th, by “Sultan Suleiman Shah / Ameshat” militia, as the latter is demanding a financial ransom of 15 thousand dollars for their release.
Activists noted that the kidnapping of the two brothers was preceded by a month ago, the kidnapping of the citizen, “Muhammad Manan Abo”, in addition to the kidnapping of the elderly Kurdish citizen, “Hassan Maho”, where the militants tortured, insulted him and stole everything in his house.
The activists said also that the “Political Security” militia affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood had arrested the civilian, “Idris Muhammad Hanif Sheikho,” 41 years old, from the village of Qarah Tapah in “Shara / Sharan” district while he was in the center of Afrin region.
