Afrin Post – Special
Islamic militias affiliated with the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood continue to restrict the remaining Kurdish indigenous people in the occupied Afrin region, by kidnapping them and extorting their families financially in order to pressure them and push them to leave the region for the benefit of the settlers.
The Afrinpost reporter at the center learned that gunmen from the Ahrar al-Sham militia kidnapped a citizen in the village of Gulya / Gulyan of Raju district and subjected him to severe beatings and torture for a month, under the pretext of working for the previous self-administration, and then They released him after he paid a sum of money as a ransom, which amounted to two million Syrian pounds (equivalent to approximately $ 2,500).
Soon after, the same militia rearrested the same Kurdish citizen, subjected him to violent torture again, to release him after forcing him to pay two hundred thousand Syrian pounds, although his financial situation was very poor.
The sources confirmed that the Kurdish citizen was seriously wounded by fractures and others, which made him lose the ability to work despite his difficult living situation.
