Afrinpost – Special
On November 16, gunmen from the Failaq al-Sham militia of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood kidnapped a minor Kurdish girl in front of her house in the village of Ghazweh / Ghazawiya in Sherawa district in the countryside of Afrin, northern Syria.
Afrinpost learned from private sources that gunmen from the militia “Failaq al-Sham”, which occupies the village, managed to kidnap the girl as a result of the cooperation of several women settlers veiled with them during the implementation of the kidnapping.
The minor is called Roya Mustafa Hanano, who was abducted in front of her home, in the darkness of her family’s eyes, and her fate is still unknown.
During the month of November, the occupation intensified the kidnapping campaigns against Kurdish women in Afrin, in an escalating move that aims to increase the pressure on the indigenous Kurds to force them to leave Afrin for the settlers, even though the percentage of Kurds dropped from more than 95% before the occupation to approximately 25% after the Turkish occupation of the Kurdish region, with the majority of attention to the ethnic cleansing in the east of the Euphrates, and turning a blind eye on Afrin.
