Dr. Ibrahim Muslim, a Syrian academic and political researcher, talked about how dangerous it is for Erdogan’s army to use ISIS fighters to fight beside him and the armed militants of the Muslim Brotherhood.
He added: “We all know that the leaders of ISIS Iraqis and foreign nationalities, were smuggled from Ain Issa camp, and were housed in the Syrian areas recently occupied by Turkey.” in Tal Abyad.
He pointed out that Turkey wants to provide mercenaries with new mercenaries, in order to continue their battles and control as much of the area of Syria, pointing out that joint patrols between Russia and Turkey in Tel Abyad and Ras al-Ain were canceled.
He stressed that instead of those patrols were running a US patrol and Syrian democratic forces, adding: “Our experience as Kurds and the experience of all the peoples of the region with Russia a bad experience, where handed Afrin to Turkey.”
He continued: “We are concerned that there will be agreements under the table, and when this type of patrols are canceled, it may be to hand over that region to Turkey.”
