The reporter added that 12 original families out of 40 families (the number of houses of the village) have been able to return to their homes, while the displaced are distributed in the city of Afrin and Al-Shahba areas, pointing out that there are 15 houses are not suitable for housing as a result of acts of vandalism and theft of doors, windows, cracking and burning furniture.
While the settlers from Homs and Idlib occupy the remaining houses, the reporter confirmed that the destruction in the village as a result of the aggression in March 2018, was little, but the destruction that occurred by the settlers and olive harvesters is very large, as a result of burning, breaking, smashing and theft of doors and windows from the houses that were displaced its inhabitants forcibly.
The correspondent of “Afrinpost” reported that the Turkish occupation soldiers stationed in the village after the occupation of Afrin and continued for about four months, where they did not allow the people to return, until the militia “Falik al-Sham” looted all houses, and then the occupation soldiers allowed a number of Kurdish families to return to their homes.
