The Afrin Liberation Forces said in a statement on Thursday that they managed to eliminate six armed men belonging to the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organization, who call themselves many names, most notably (National Army, Free Army), and others.
The forces said in a statement: “On 26 November, our forces carried out a sniper operation in the vicinity of the city of Marea, targeting a group of mercenaries of the occupation, and the killing of one mercenary.”
“On 27 November, our forces targeted a group of mercenaries of the so-called Ahrar al-Shamal, in the village of Kafr Kalbin in Azaz area. Three mercenaries of the group were killed and two others were wounded.”
“On the same date, our forces targeted a group of al-Mu’tasim mercenaries in the vicinity of Marea. Our forces destroyed a mercenary military vehicle, killing two mercenaries and wounding three others.”
The Afrin Liberation Forces carried out their first operations against the Turkish occupation forces and its militants in December 2018. On December 21, the Afrin Liberation Forces issued for the first time a statement announcing an operation against the occupation forces that participated in the occupation of the Kurdish region in northern Syria.
