Afrinpost – Special

The Turkish occupation militias continue to loot, rob livelihoods of the people of the occupied Afrin province, amid the complete absence of law and accountability, and the tyranny of the jungle law on the territory since more than a year and 8 months of the occupation.

Al-Nukhba Army militia harvested and looted an olive field crop belonging to a Kurdish woman named Shavo, the widow of the deceased ‘Ali Majeed, from the village of Amara, in Mobata / Ma’batli, according to the Afrinpost reporter in the area.

The reporter explained that the target field consists of 225 olive trees, which was picked and robbed despite the presence of the field owner in the village.

In addition, Al-Nukhba Army militia imposes royalties on the farmers of the villages under its occupation, the eight villages in the districts of “Mobata / Ma’batli” and “Bulbula / Bulbul”, worth 150 SYP for each olive tree owned by the Kurdish citizens, whether they are fruitful this season or not!

The same militia also imposes other royalties on the owners of olive trees in olive oil presses.

Liwa Suwoor Al-Shama militia, in turn, imposes a 15% royalty on the crops of the people of Kamrouk during the afternoon operation in the village’s presses, in addition to other royalties that are forcibly collected under different arguments.
