Islamic militias, known as the “national army” of the Turkish occupation and the Muslim Brotherhood organisation, continue to loot the olive crop throughout the Kurdish-occupied Afrin region and prevent people from going to their fields at gunpoint.
In this context, the correspondent of “Afrinpost” in the “Bulbula / Bulbul” confirmed that the gunmen of “Al-Hamza ” militia led by “Tareq Jouryeh” prevented farmers of the village “Hassan Dera” from going to their fields to harvest their olive crops at gunpoint.
The correspondent pointed out that the gunmen brought workers from the settlers and harvested the fields belonging to the villagers, adding that two trucks were filled with olive bags and sent to pressing in favor of the so-called “Tareq Juoryeh”
The militias of the occupation sell olives stolen from Afrin to the Turkish occupation authorities.
The Anatolian Agency of the Turkish regime published last April, implicitly acknowledged the theft of olives from the Kurdish occupied city of Afrin, by announcing the increase of exports of the occupation state of olives in the period following the occupation of Afrin.
According to a brochure published by the Turkish Agency that the export of olives from Turkey was more than 35 thousand tons during the period from November 2018 to March 2018, while rising after the occupation of Afrin to more than 51 thousand tons.
The financial revenues earned by the Turkish occupation amounted to more than 10 million dollars, which was previously earning nearly 70 million dollars, later making about 80 million dollars (as recognized only).
